PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Ali Amin Gandapur, the nominee for chief minister slot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), has decided to contest for KP Assembly as an independent candidate.

The senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will contest for chief minister position without any party affiliation.

Sources say Gandapur hasn’t joined the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) despite PTI's recommendation.
