Ali Amin Gandapur to vie for KP CM slot as independent candidate

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Ali Amin Gandapur, the nominee for chief minister slot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), has decided to contest for KP Assembly as an independent candidate.
The senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will contest for chief minister position without any party affiliation.
Sources say Gandapur hasn’t joined the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) despite PTI's recommendation.

It must be noted that Gandapur has also submitted the nomination papers for PTI's intra-party elections for provincial presidency. Party sources say he hasn’t taken oath as a member of SIC.
